scoring for the Campillio and Klitschko fights at the weekend

    As some know , i write a blog collecting fight scores from the fans and press etc

    This week we had our first big controversial decision in the Cloud vs Campillio fight as the Texan judges robbed the Spanaird of his 2nd world title. I scored the fight 114-112 , it was a close fight although i dont think it was a massive robbery.

    Most fans and press who scored this fight had Campillio winning by either 114-112 or 115-111 , i mention in my blog that IF the 115-111 (from 114-112) score has a one point swing the other way then its a 113-113 fight.

    A few had it a draw and only 1 had the fight to Cloud...by a massive 118-111 , i know they must be having a laugh.

    Regarding the Klitscho vs Chisora fight , this was an easier fight to score as most fans and press had big Vitali winning 117-111 or 116-112 but as we all know the fight has been overshadowed by the post fight brawl between Chisora and Haye.

    The Campillo fight was not close. By numbers it was but only because of the big first round. Giving Cloud three rounds after that first round is generous.

    I gave Cloud the 1st 10-7, and also the 4th, 6th, and 12th.
    114-112 Campillo
    (in my opinion, not an ENORMOUS robbery. It was closer on points for me than Williams/Lara, Helenius/Chisora, and Pacquiao/Marquez III from last year)

    I gave Chisora the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

    i agree mate , i was talking to Al Bernstein on twitter about the fight and he said the same , cloud won 3 rounds , maybe 4 at a push...but in noway anymore

    Al scored the fight 115-111 to Campillio

    People are making too much of a big deal about Campillo/Cloud. I had picked Campillo too for the upset and scored the fight 114-112 for Campillo as well. I cant see it being scored for Cloud but could see a draw. The announcers were all over Campillo and that in my opinion swayed a lot of fans to give rounds for Campillo when they are much more closer than how the announcers made it seem.

    The fight was a robbery but not to the extent that Casamayor/Santa Cruz or Whitaker/JCC extreme type of robbery.

    i collected 46 scores prom the press and fans.

    42 had it for campillio , most common scores 114-112 , 115-111

    3 had it a draw , 113-113 x2 and 114-114

    1 had it to Cloud on ESB but it was a mad score of 118-110

    Campillo clearly won the fight, he outclassed Cloud after the first round. Don King's judges should be banned for life!
