After all the chatter recently about Loma and his defeat to Haney I figured I wanted to rewatch all of Lomas losses and post my scorecard on here.

I'm gonna add a poll but please try post your rbr scorecard first to encourage healthy debate. I've not included draws in the poll, so if you did score it a draw pick who you think should rightly have gotten the decision in your eyes.

I think I'll post after each round for all 36 of them.

Hopefully tonight but maybe over the next few weeks, who knows.

    Old Salido 7-5
    Green Lopez 9-3
    Green Haney 5-7 or draw

All the flashy stuff may trick you but if you go down to proper scoring fundamentals maybe he should've won the Haney fight, just barely and clearly lost the others and I don't recommend him fighting Shakur, Gervonta or Inoue @126.

Lost to Salido. Lost to Lopez. Beat Haney, draw is also fair.

    Drew with Salido
    Lost to Lopez
    Schooled Haney

All had huge size advantages over him. Loma is a FW.

Lost/drew with Sallido, lost to Lopez, lost to Haney (or draw). The Loma fanboys need to accept he was never as good as they thought and lost the two biggest fights of his career.

    • lost > draw to Salido
    • lost > draw to Lopez
    • won > draw over Haney

I like Loma, I really do.

    But he’s so overrated.

I had Loma losing to Salido but with all the low blows and the fact Salido didn't make weight and was a Welterweight, the fight either shouldn't of happened or Salido should've been DQed for low blows.

I had Loma clearly losing to Lopez 7-5 nothing debatable about this fight IMO.

I had Loma beating Haney 7-5 but it's not the robbery everyone makes it out to be, although I can't see Haney doing any better than a draw personally.

So if boxing was fair then I think Loma only legitimately lost to Lopez, with thr Haney fight at worst being a draw.

    So either 2-0-1 or 1-1-1.

But as I've said before Loma never really separates himself in close fights, look at ODLH vs Quartey and Vargas for example that's how you turn a fight around that you're on the verge of possibly losing.

Loma is/was a very, very good fighter, but falls short of being a genuinely great fighter.
