Yeah you tell me which Tyson fight suggests Douglas could have competed. Which Lewis fight suggests Rahman could have competed. But basically if someone rates Floyd higher they'll favour him. If someone rates Loma higher they'll favour him. Unless they fight we'll never know, which means we'll never know.
Of course you will. Fans of boxing like whoever they like. It should be no surprise that fans of Floyd will be fans of Loma and fans of Floyd won't be fans of Loma.
Was a long time ago, but my recollection is that I thought Salido just nicked it with a point or two. Lopez was fairly comfortable with 3 or 4 points and I had Hane winning 7-5. I don't remember the Salido fight at all round by round except that Loma, as always, came on strong in the final stretch. Lopez and Haney both built up a big lead dueing the first six, with Loma catching up a bit but not fully.
0-3, none were especially hard to score. Haney was whipping clean midrange bodyshots all night. Those were scoring shots.
So going thru both fighters level of opposition, wins and losses if any, and you expect a natural SFW who's not a puncher to land a hail Mary punch on Floyd who took DLH's, Mosley's, Canelo's and Pac's best?
No of course I don't expect it. I never expected Rahman to do it neither though tbf. What I'm saying is you don't know the outcome until they've fought. Better people than Floyd have lost to worse people than Loma. Wouldn't exactly be upset of the century would it not.
