Whilst the commentators seemed thrilled with it, it was obvious he would tire later on. It was interesting to hear his trainer telling him before Round 5 to "keep dancing":hammertime:dance:arran:mj
yer i know it was kind of baffling his movement was off the charts and i was struggling to give him any rounds where he just ran around the outside the ring. I had Dodd by 2 rounds btw
Ye thats one way of describing it, excessive! The movement in itself was decent work he just did too much if it for too long then hardly reaped any rewards for all that effort by not hardly countering. Allso have u seen the ifl intv he done after, hes well deluded also the manner in which he describes dodds as small hall. i hope hooper who holds the english and i think is his next mand takes that belt off him. Dodds should of won that last night and cardle thinks he won by 2rds. Hes not that good and certainly not as good as he thinks he is.
Hooper has dropped English title but I've heard he gunna b made mandatory. I agree had Dodd by 2 myself. Not impressed with cardle at all.
I seen the IFL interview and have to say Cardle was very disrespectful, branding Dodd a small hall fighter & stating how HE has given him 2 pay days.. I'd say Dodd was the attraction in the fight, not cardle - did the commentators say he did £50k of tickets? Wow! As for small hall & "bang average at best" as he said the other day, well that's branding you the same surely - considering you got a robbery of a draw Scott! I doubt we will see very much of Cardle in the future, don't listen to instructions AT ALL, is actually hard to watch for the normal fan... Dodd however , he will feature on the Bellew undercard I'd bet my bottom dollar
Ye 50k. Thats great support. Mashers been so gracious in defeat both times. He was the 1 pushing the fight last night and i have yet to come accross anyone not having dodds as the winner. I do hope he gets out on another big bill the guy deserves that much.
With support like that he will be a regular on all matchroom shows in the north west. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in with Tommy Coyle later in the year. Fair play to Masher he is some gent, so unfortunate! I'll put money on him being on the Bellew undercard, for a title of some kind, maybe English if it's vacant. Or a wbc flip flop belt.
His footwork is **** imo. Stance looks weird and his front leg looks really stiff. Reminds me of someone who trained a lot on moving but severly lacks the natural ability to do so effortlessly.
A couple days after he last defended it. O hara Davis v keates on aj show for vacant title. Saw a post by Carl Greaves saying his worked hard but got hooper to mandatory position
Thanks maley. I take it the lw english is now vacant. Any idea if there are any names in the hat for it.
