Both of these guys were of comparable size and had similar records with similar comp, though its debatable who beat the better men.

I thought Frank was a heavyweight and Dewit a middlewieght

DeWitt was more talented as a fighter, that's for sure.

But Frank somehow managed to get a draw vs Snipes though (who was better boxer than DeWitt)

I think DeWitt most likely wins this on points in a close fight, but the opposite result won't surprise me

DeWit seems like a somewhat wasted talent. He won the bronze medal in the 1984 Olympics. Put together a pretty good pro record and beat a few undefeated prospects along the way and captured the Canadian heavyweight title. He lost to Henry Tillman in the Olympics but avenged that defeat in the pros which ended up being his last fight. Fortunately for DeWit life seems to have turned out well. His health was in tact and the story goes that he earned a law degree and went on to be an attorney in Canada. You don't hear too many endings like that for pro fighters

Yes I also think he didn't fulfil his potential. Seems like he never recovered from Bert Cooper fight, same with Tillman after Cooper. Both were pretty good boxers, Tillman was a bit small for a HW though.
