Thoughts and opinions? Do you agree with mr. Scott Gilfoid?

Here are some of his quotes:

'Boxing News 24 had Wilder winning 114-112'

'You can argue that Wilder deserved to win the last five rounds based on him landing the much harder shots'

'The referee gave Fury a huge break in not halting the fight when he was knocked down in round 12, as he was down hard. It was the type of knockdown in which referees usually stop the fight on the spot'

'The 12th round knockdown that Wilder scored would have likely been a knockout win for him if a different referee was working the fight. When a fighter gets knocked down like Fury was, the referees stop the fight'

'If you look at the Wilder-Fury fight, it’s clear that Wilder was doing all the work and Fury was just coming along for the ride'

Scott Gilfoid is a known troll and writes some of the very worst articles on this site.

The only quote that had some merit is that yes, some referees would have stopped the fight in the 12th.

If Fury had been the American and Wilder the gypsy Brit, Gilfoid would have written an article on how Fury had been robbed blind and that Wilder was a talentless bum.
    Nobody takes that persona seriously.

    It's funny.

Wilder fans are actually blaming the referee for Fury getting up and coming back to beat Wilder up.
Wilder is supposed to have power that puts these guys to sleep for years with no chance of beating a count, especially landing TWO shots like that, but when a great opponent shows toughness and heart, beats the count and comes back fighting, these so-called "fans" are bitching about it !

Also, the referee had the best view of Fury there, better than all we have seen from camera shots, and better than anyone in the arena, and he saw enough in Fury to start and continue the count and gave a great champion his chance to get up.
The referee then gave Fury a good look, Fury was in good shape, keen and on steady legs, and the fight continued.

Gilfoid actually thought Josh Taylor v Ryan Martin was an early stoppage and it happened just when Martin was about to take over.

Hopefully he’s no somehow a mod on here n bans me. But I found some of his articles the worst boxing coverage seen, especially on Wilder

When Fury was knocked down in the 12th, most referees would have not even bothered with a count and called it off. This has happened a lot in the past. I am super glad that this ref did not do that.

Unless the opponent is out cold, every fighter deserves a full 10 count to establish if they can continue or not. Too often fights are waved off prematurely in favour of the home fighter/broadcaster/big promoter.

I don’t get why so many refs wave off fights on a KD.

Count. Anything can happen. If the guy is snoring or lifelessly laying in the bellkeeper’s lap, fine.

But even when you get those repeated knockdowns, give the fighter a chance to get up and then see where he’s at when on his feet.

    He's not wrong.

People need to watch the fight without the commentatory and you will see Wilder did enough to win.

The referee is who the spotlight should on not the judges who did Fury a favor.

Only times I think a ref should wave it off immediately is if the fighter is in obvious distress. But other than that a fighter should be given the chance to get up and show they are able to continue.

Rediculous. I actually thought an arguement could be made that Fury won every round bar the 2 kd's.
