This is anohter Gomez again, he will come back beat some easy opposition and then get beat by some one he surely would of beat at his peak. Its a shame because he was world class, not elite but world class all the same.
well this is getting even better, dunky's back on form now we've got the jackal back in the mix, this is like old times. for what it's worth if scotty was having alcohol problems when he was operating at his prime, and now he's clean and stays clean,is there not a possibility that he might be better?this may be the first time he's trained and prepared for fights alcohol free.
Before he can box professionally again he needs to win back the licence he gave up - presumably he would have to undergo a medical/mental health assessment. He also needs a promoter - his father says they will be talking to Warren but I thought they'd reached the end of the road after the manner Harrison withdrew from the Nicky Cook fight and vacated his Title.
He wont be short of promotional offers I dont think. Perhaps the likes of Warren and Maloney wont take him, but im sure there are smaller promoters who would love the opportunity. Brian Peters? Dennis Hobson?
SCOTT Harrison, the former world boxing champion, lost his fight with the inland revenue over his unpaid tax bill yesterday as he was declared bankrupt. Attempts had been made to save the troubled fighter from sequestration, but HM Revenue and Customs finally ran out of patience over an unpaid tax demand of more than £83,000. As an undischarged bankrupt, it could be a criminal offence for Harrison to obtain credit of more than £250 without disclosing his position. It had been hoped Harrison could clear the debt through the sale of a property in Glasgow. At the bankruptcy case at the Court of Session in Edinburgh yesterday, Iain Artis, counsel for the Revenue, said Harrison had received an offer of £350,000 for a house he owned in Glasgow, but the clear proceeds of the sale would be only £70,000, not enough to clear the debt. Is he back because his bankrupt? Would be nice to see him back..The rest may have done him good!
Ya Dancer......Scotty's back!!!!! To celebrate, here's a picture of me with the great man! The World is at your feet Scotty!
ha ha gutted. i'd lend him the 13 grand. i'd want double back though. :yep he needs that comeback in more ways than one. atsch

Soback to clear tax bill, or maybe to avoid prison? "when was the last time you had a drink" "arrccchhh oooohhhhh ages ago, cant remember, too busy training" - Im not avin that, I can remember the last time I had a drink, more so if I were a raving alcoholic and I had hit a turning point. Good luck to him though, he was one of my favourite fighters before he started turning into a bit of a ****. Struggled with Polo, but no doubt if you put him in with a fighter (not so much a technician) he would provide value for money.
good to see him looking the part. still prefer the trademark tache though. :yep what's happening regarding these court cases. are they still going thru or have the charges been dropped??
No way will the charges have been dropped, surely not? It'll look much better in court if he's "turned his life around and is back in the gym" though !
