I, for one, will be eagerly awaiting the return of Davey McHegarty looking resplendent in traditional Scottish dress, singing Flower of Scotland' and imploring the crowd to 'give it up for Scott Harrison':D

Cant say how chuffed i was when i heard about the news this morning.

He looks in pretty good shape and more importantly, good health.

A fully focused and driven Harrison can still cause most guys a heap of trouble.

Could end up being a great end to the year for Scottish sport after what has already been a fantastic 2007 :good

Haha! nice max! was only joking though as you may have noticed in another post i actually defended derry and said the simpson fight seemed as if it was only a 1 off cause i havent seen him fight like that any other time. would have been nice to see the 2 CRIMINALS in the ring though matthews wouldnt have lasted a round!!!

I was never a fan of Scott before he retired. He was so big and strong at the weight it was like watching David against Goliath when he fought the likes of Medina - I always went with the underdog. But after the last two years he's had - a return to boxing can only keep him focused and fit so this is just what he needs. I will be jumping aboard the Harrison bandwagon and as long as his Dad is involved I think he can shake up the domestic scene. I'm not sure Kevin Mitchell would fancy fighting Harrison in Scotland!!

Think the court cases are ongoing and he still faces charges in Scotland and Spain.

You have been too long in the company of Mayweather fans. Harrison has given himself a chance of salvation and if it works for him he may well yet make you see the light.

Ally, I think HH1 misread my post, I think he reads my posts with the old 'red mist' obscuring his sight a little, cos Im always winding him up about his boy Ricky:lol:

I made a post saying I would be studying boxers at lightweight & would look at their weaknesses & Scottys strenghths, & give reasons why I think Scotty could beat them. Not WOULD beat them, but could beat them, & I explained that clearly.

However, HH1 just glazed over my post not taking time to understand what I was getting at & called me ludicrous, or words to that effect. In other words, hes just too angry with me & posted irrationally, screaming that I said Scotty could beat anyone! Its just a gaffe on his behalf, so dont be too harsh on him;)

Scott Harrison v Juan Manuel Marquez. Super-featherweight.

Fight poster billing "Execution at Braehead". And we all know who would be getting the gas chamer treatment, and it sure aint Marquez.

Dont you think you are taking things a bit far with that post Robbi? I know you dont like me, & hate Harrison & all that ****, but talk of Harrison being executed in a gas chamber, its taking things a bit too far, dont you think?

Its only sport at the end of the day.

Good to see you having a few nice words to say about Scotty HH1, it hasnt gone unnoticed. & when I say something nice about a fellow poster, its never a lie. I never kid about personal stuff on ESB brit forum.

i wasn't responding to your comments dunk.

    i was responding to allyT.

he was the one that came with the in form i'd tip him to beat anyone comment. :yep

    i disagree with that.

even in his prime he struggled with medina twice (2nd fight was a struggle as well), and victor polo.

i'm not ruling out scott's chances of maybe making world top 10 level again though.

the odds are stacked against though. :bart
