Harrison, 30, was stopped by police in his car in Ferniegair, on April 22. He was formally arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and was taken to nearby Hamilton police station for questioning. A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged road traffic offence on Tuesday, April 22. Inquiries are ongoing." It has been reported that Harrison, from Cambuslang near Glasgow, had a 15-year-old girl in the car with him when he was stopped. Strathclyde Police confirmed there had been a girl in the car with the former world featherweight champion, but could not give any more details.
Yep just seen this. God Harrison...what a waste of physical talent. Never much liked him as an individual but he was some boxer in his pomp. He has no chance of being relicenced now.
There goes any hope he had of getting his license back. Its a shame him vs Arthur would have been great.
he's had petitions going round over the last few days as well. atsch stick a fork in his career then. :yep he should start again in the states if he's that desperate to try again.
Time for Scott to forget it. The BBBC will never re-licence him, whilst DUI is a much more serious offence worldwide than it is here (espec. USA) so I would be surprised if anybody will sanction him, and rightly so. Everybody has their problems, but most know the difference between right and wrong, and whether or not to turn the key after a session on the ale. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever, nor for anyone else who drives whilst pissed.
Suspicion of drink driving is different from drink driving. The media have already got it wrong with him in the past and im unsure whether or not to listen to it again.
