What is it with some of these boxers and driving offences - Prince Naz, Khan and now Harrison. Sadly its been reported that the guy Khan knocked over on a crossing has died - said he never fully recovered from accident.
British boxer Amir Khan has been cleared of dangerous driving after he speeding through a red light and knocking down a pedestrian. The world lightweight title hopeful reached a top speed of 47mph as he went through traffic lights in the wrong lane in Bolton town centre on March 2. The jury at Bolton Crown Court agreed with Khan's argument that his driving was careless, but not dangerous. atschHow did khan get away so lightly? As for Harrison....Hes been finished for years now. Its no real surprise to me.
Alot of posters on here took alot of stick for believing in Scott Harrison, and yet he promises alot, and again fails to deliver. The guy has been given every chance to turn things around but clearly he doesn't want to. Enough said...
Well, innocent until proven guilty as they say. I never had much hope for a successful comeback, but I was hoping that dedication and focus on his boxing would distract from the temptations of the booze. If he gets sent down for this, you'd have to say that he'd had his last chance. Good luck to him anyway.
What a twat. He can kiss goodbye to his license now. I thought the guy had turned the corner but the usual **** from SH.
The drink driving thing may be nothing - maybe he had one pint or something, let's wait and see before jumping to the conclusion. The 15 year old girl though.....
Why would he be caught in the back seat with his niece with blacked out windows, the UV light going underneath and the banging basstube vibrating her so much that it was turning her on? Maybe he's into incest!
Not to mention the 50 kilos of cocaine, 11 Kalashnikovs, 4 RPGs, some weapons grade plutonium, 500 cloned credit cards and 4 illegal immigrants all in the boot. By the time this thread's through, he will be facing several consequetive life sentences for war crimes.
Say what you want about him my man. I washed my hands of Harrison a while back here. & I did warn people that Scotty would never be back, hes an alkie, & alkies are great liars. They lie so well in fact, they even fool themselves sometimes. In a strange sort of way Im happy hes ****ed up again, cos as I said before, my biggest fear that was that he got his license back whilst he was snealkily boozing & drugging, & went into the ring a shadow of his former self & got hammered by some journeyman. Its what happens when a fighter hits the booze & drugs, look at jonny Tapia. He was as hard as nails, but by the end of his career the drink & drugs ravaged him, & he was rolling around in agony after getting KO'd by a bum. The same would have happened to harrison if he got his license back. Hopefully he wont now.
