Scott Harrison cleared to box

Scott Cardle is all wrong for Scott.. He should be stepping up in the lightweight division and looking at more winable fights that suit his style. John Murray or Derry Mathews would be better fights

 

Cardle is one of Matchrooms up & comers, the only way they put him in with Scott is if they fully expect him to win & get a former world champions scalp on his record.

If Scott's serious about a comeback surely he must have a couple of tuneup fights first

 

Absolute waste of talent. And now a waste of everyone's time

 

To be fair he really doesn't have time on his side to pick and choose tune up fights etc, he will just have to keep himself in tip top condition and take the fights as they come!!

Scott has come back from the brink to beat his sabre-toothed demons, so the last thing anybody should do is stop him fighting now.

Harrison's a warrior, a champion prizefighter and when he's in his 60's he'll still be fighting :bbb

 

Hope he has got his licence back, if its Cardle on 27th June with 2 weeks notice I am worried. I think with 10 week training camp Scott knocks him out, 2 wks notice I worry about his timing, fitness. He has been training, so will have a decent level of fitness, but fighting fit I don't know. Still think with 1 half decent tune up and a full camp he would beat any lightweight in the UK.

 

Hes been sparring Limond, and training, not sure if hes been in a full training camp though

 

If Harrison won the British title it would be a major achievement at this stage, but I can't really see him beating Mathews, Gethin; etc. His best bet would be fighting around Europe, trading on his name abd maybe pick up a couple of dubious 'world' titles: WBU, WBF, etc...

 

I hope he does well I didn't like the way he was stopped by the board from earning
