I heard Scott Harrison may make a comeback in 2008. Do you think he will become world champion again?

not kept track, has all his court cases been dealt with ?

if he does come back i would expect him back at lightweight as without the training in between fights he is not going to get down to feather where i do not know how he made the weight.

He was never a world champion. He was a trinket holder at best, and a lucky one at that.
I don't think a serious comeback is likely, he should concentrate on staying sober and out of prison instead.

He is coming back at Super Feather, expect Warren to put him agaisnt Arthur if he hasn't moved up or Mitchell if he is champ by then!

I heard it was super feather he was aiming for in his comeback. Leave him have a couple of decent fights to shake off the ring rust and then put him in against Arthur. Massive all Scottish showdown!!!

Cant really agree there. As much as Harrison wasnt the best at 126 he did beat some worthy contenders.I remember when he beat Chacon for the WBO belt in Scotland. The atomosphere was electric. He also destroyed Wayne in a very one sided affair, TKO`ed Medina in there rematch,KO`ed Abelyan who some said would beat Harrison with ease, and destroyed Brodie in 4.He was a worthy champ but one of the usual WBO calibre.

Medina 2 was probably his best performance. A lot of people couldnt see where he'd get a win from following their first outing. Wouldnt of bet on him against any of the "big" names in the division around the time though. So many lucrative fights that couldve been made for scotty.

He's a massively strong man and has one of the best CV's in UK boxing. I hope he does well. Don't understand how you can describe him as a lucky trinket holder?

what about the samuel kebbede world championship title fight? surely harrison should be classed as a real world champ after that! oh and the "draw" with victor pollo and the defence against the dangerman of the featherweight division walter estrada? abelyan? so what if some people thought he would beat harrison there is no way harrison v abelyan is world championship boxing. scott harrison was no world champion

He was a world class fratherwight when the featherweight division was full of barrera and marquez...

Might be a bit too late for him now, i expect him to fight for the interim against AA though...easy money for Frank.

my point is he was never going to be number 1, so reaching where reached was a good job. he was world class at one point like it or not!

Yes but he was a 'world' champion..... i'm the same as you I hate governing bodies they are shite but Harrison proved numerous times he was world class. He was never the man but was definately a contender.

He was world class and wouldve given any of the top fighters a decent outing (without winning), but I suppose it all comes down to whether you see the WBO as part of the big 4 titles nowdays, or if its still the big 3 titles for you.
When you consider its champions include Calderon, Ponce de leon, Guzman, Juan Diaz, Paul Williams, Pavlik & Calzaghe I think its safe to say its finally part of the big 4. Some tweaking with regulations is needed though!
