You have mentioned the Barrios fight before, but we know Peter was right to decline it!
Tell me this though, why didn't Burns fight Broner at Super-featherweight rather than give up his title? And why didn't he take the Broner fight again when it was offered at lightweight?

Ricky was offered the fight at something like 6-7 weeks notice at SFW, he was never offered the fight at LW as far as I'm aware,
All rumours that fight was only ever mentioned once.
You think knocking back the Rios fight was right? Even though you openly say Scott struggled to make FW and his FW title wouldn't have been affected had he challenged for the SFW title seems very very strange Ryan.
So tell me how peter was right?

For a start the money was shite! Plus they were closing in on the unification fight with Chi and the Barrera fight up at Super-featherweight. Basically Team Harrison had bigger fish to fry! So Peter was right!
As for Broner, firstly he was your mandatory at Super-featherweight, but Ricky vacated. Then from what I can remember they offered you the Unification Fight up at Lightweight with 8-9 weeks notice. Sure soon after you knocked it back Gavin Rees jumped at the opportunity grabbing it with both hands.

The money offered for the Barios was the exact amount offered for Scott's next voulantary defence I remember it we'll, at no time was a fight with chi mentioned so whoever a told you that is telling whoppers, funny enough I don't remember a unification ever being mentioned which in itself is very poor with all his defences

Was that the defence against Sam Kebede! Well that was a mandatory and it was shite money more of a nuisance than anything else for Scott that fight.
As for Chi it was no secret Frank Maloney was in talks with Chi's people for sometime.
I see you never answered on the Broner situation Billy ;)

    Boxing forum?

It's just you wanking off Scott left, right and centre.

You and Moog are the saddest ****s on here. Praising an alcoholic junkie and making up lie after lie about him.

I know you're desperate to somehow secure the poor man a pay day so he can have some money in the bank before his prison sentence but this is utterly embarrassing.

ffs Ryan how many times do I need to say the ONLY reason Ricky never fought Broner was the short notice at SFW No other reason don't listen to people who think they know I'm telling you as it was.

post from u are what's embarrassing my friend, Scott was a great fighter and has had hard times, there's no need for name calling especially when you wouldn't have the balls to say it to his face

Billy i read an article way back that ricky was also offered Broner in a unification at lightweight , but all the options were in favour of Broner and he wanted something ridiculous like a 75/25 split in his favour with all options in his favour also , Any truth

Who cares about what he once was? What he has since become is where my issue is.

If he gets in the ring and sorts himself out, then we can talk again.
