Had this fight went through and Joan not pulled out, who would have won.

I know Joan is a superior boxer, but I think Scotty would have taken this. The dominican would have shat himself, the Glaswegian at his peak was a scary scary man who would have relentlessly beat you down even if you are better than him.

I think Guzman would have won this but at the time Harrison was at his peak he could cause just about any boxer trouble. Guzman is good but not great (yet).

Come of it, Guzman is world class, harrison was a decent fighter but really he was well managed, and fought WBO guys. Hopefully he wil come back and challenge at super feather.

Also people did not realise how good guzman was until now. If he can outobx humberto soto for 12 rounds, iamgine what he is gonna do to arthur and would have done to harrison.

No version of Harrison would stand a chance in hell against Guzman.

Polo was a big Bika type fighter and indeed was a nightmare for Harrison but I would give Scott a good chance of winning this fight. I'm not sure Guzman has the pop to keep Scott off him and when Harrison did get up close a primed Harrison could do some serious damage. Sometimes roughhouse brawlers are able to take out guys of superior technical ability and this may have been one of those occasions imo.

I would give the Harrison of yester-year a better change against the Guzman of today, since Guzman is more of a stationary target now, preferring to trade and have lazy spells, rather than get on his bike. This would play right into a fighter like Harrison's hands, who wouldn't let him have breaks (saying that Guzman has great defence on the inside and its hard to land a clean blow on him - except the one that sky sports show in their intro when Barrios nails him).

If the fight had have happened back when it should have I would go for Guzman by medium to wide UD (something like 116-112 or 117-111), using his superior skills and fast feet.

Harrison at that time was struggling with a drinking habit ( although it was not common knowledge then)

The Scott that fought McCullogh would have mauled him with pure strength and pressure imo

So youve never seen the McCulloch Harrisson fight then have you?:-(

Boxing is not plain sailing matey, I can bring out hundreds of examples where the elite cowardly guy gets a real doing by the aggressive B level fighter.
