As i said before, you scots are too easily pleased its bizarre.

he looked an absolute shadow of his former self against Walsh, all hes done since then is age more. It would be an absolute landslide victory for Burns and anyone who disagrees with that is just clueless. Thats not even an opinion. It's a fact.

Harrison's too long gone in both age and time out of the ring for much of, if any chance here.

Burn's on top of the already mentioned advantages has height & reach over Scotty as well.

BUT it IS the biggest pay check any of them could get now,
and as boxing is no longer about best meeting the best, this is a GREAT fight, and could well likely happen.

It's is it's your opinion. Styles make fights! If Ricky found like he did in his last fight he would lose to Scott. Scott was a shadow of himself against Walsh and lost a close fight. I'm more a Ricky Burns fan than Scott Harrison and would want Ricky to win but it's not the landslide victory that you think. Ricky would need to up his game. He struggles with pressure fighters and covers up. Go back watch him years ago against Alex Arthur.. This fight sells and the winner will be down to what Ricky Burns shows up.

It's good to see somebody on here who has balanced view of the fight instead of the usual biased, haters and arselickers chipping in with their two bobs worth Davey. The only thing that makes this fight a sham is Ricky trying to drag an old Scott Harrison up in weight with him. It takes the shine off it IMO. If that is going to be the case then I hope Scott tells him where to go.

Burns would beat Scott, but that isn't really saying much....is this the level that Burns has fallen to fighting domestic shot fighters ??

The way ricky has gone he'd probably fancy this and it would be a decent enough 'comeback' win for ricky as coyle isn't exactly a scrub (but IMO not someone who will get to world level)

Tommy is a very good fighter by the way tough and strong but Ricky is at a different level, you will all see a different burns next fight when it's not a southpaw believe me
