Last i heard he was sparring with Willie Limond and looking really good with it as well. Apparently has his head sorted and just waiting on the bbc giving him back his license. Now im hearing rumours he is wanted in Spain for an assault charge. Does anyone know the truth?

    the truth is....

he was a beast at feather,****ing huge, strong and powerful.

now he likes the stella a bit much,he wont hit feather again. at a higher weight catagory, with a bad alcohol problem he will be ordinary. regional title holder at best.

he is also very old for a small man now....none of this helps.

    The truth is....

If he returns to pro boxing above the FW division he will get ****ed up.

A shame, because he was a hell of a machine in his day.

The truth is i was wondering if anyone knew if he was closer to getting his license back or will the court case in spain scupper this. I think there was talk of him moving to lightweight if he got his license back.

Harrision was a very good featherweight but if he has to move up to lightweight he loses all the advantages that he's traded on throughout his career.

I think a lot of the lightweight talk has been more in hope than expectation up here as we would love to see Harrison fight Alex Arthur in an east v west grudge match. There is also bad feeling between the two camps due to Arthur criticising the methods of Harrisons dad Peter.

All of this is pointless of course if he hasnt go a license.

    What a waste

    Thats it in a nutshell.

His physical advantage over an opponent come fight-night was what gave him the edge; Scott was never exactly an ardent exponent of the sweet science.

I dread to think what Marquez would do to him.

100% agree. I dont think he would ever get back to that level but i hope he comes back so we can get some decent shows back on up here.

he still has court cases too answer to in spain and apparently cant get his license back until these have been resolved. with the spanish system that could be anytime things can drag on for years over there although im sure i heard he had a court date in the near future april or may i think. love to see him fight arthur at lw, dont know how far he would go to come back now especially moving up , probably good on domestic scene at best reckon he would take arthur though given 2 warm up fights first to shake the cob webs

just an afterthought here if he could get down to 9.4 i think he could really clean up domestically and maybe on the euro scene too. supposedly when training for cook his body wouldnt go below 9.9 although this was put down too lifting weights in jail in spain.
had they fought if harrison had kept it together and trained harrison would have DESTROYED cook

    This.

He will be nothing at lightweight. He will not even compete for a British title. It's been too long, too much abuse on the body, we are asking for miracles from a fighter that traded on physicality.
