if scott returns he could compete at lightweight no bother,he used to spar and smash the best and some of the best up and comers in britian at L/W and L/W/W when he was around 10 stone in sparring.so forget the idea he was just strength, you dont win world titles and defend them 10 times on that alone!

scott was a formidable fighter. I prefered his boxing on the way up. His combination punching was excellent.

If he can get in good nick (say 130) he can still do something....but his main advantage (size) will be lost at LW......although I'm sure he'd be an ideal Khan opponent :rofl

To be honest, if he can get to 130, have a warm-up fight and then fight the winner of Mitchell-Burns then we will see if he has anything left.

Sadly, I don't think he has, which is a shame because he was terrific in his day and hard as nails. Shame.

Hope he gets his licence back but I can't see it happening. Looks like it's a promising career down the swanny.

As person it seems he is horrible but in terms of boxing legacy we are forgetting he was a genuine somebody who could mix it. Not like Cook or Arthur. I hope he can come back because I want British boxing thriving and he certainly helps at the lower weights.

Of course, but as it stands he would have left boxing when he was a world champion and still in his prime. He could and should have achieved more. Hopefully he will get a second chance.
