Hi guys, Uzi from South Wales here. Anyone got any news on whats happening with Scott Harrison?. I used to be a fan of his but i haven't heard any concrete news on him in a while, i hope he's put all his problems behind him and he can get back in the ring soon. Anyone got any news on him?
I managed to speak to him (drunken phone call through a mutual friend) and asked him to come out of retirement and fight JMM. His words were 'dont worry about that' but I'm not sure how serious he was given my state! I'd be interested to know though whether he was planning a come back, I was a big fan too!
Did you hear any more on whats happening with his spanish legal troubles? I heard that hes looking at a prison sentence out there for punching a copper.
I literally spoke to him for about 2 minutes! Talked about the Brodie fight, asked him if he would have fought Injin Chi (not surprisingly he said yes) and then babbled on about how good I thought he was. But I thought all that Spanish stuff was done and dusted! I didnt realise it was still on going
From memory (and a quick google) I think the Spanish stuff is over. He did have recent court appearances in Glasgow regarding unrelated offences but I think at the moment he is trouble free. Which says to me its a great time for him to make a comeback!! Come on Scott!
