The absolute best, in shape, I came to win and knock this sucker out version of Ledoux vs Prime Liston. Could Ledoux put his all into it and win?

No, not even a slight possibility. The best in shape and ready LeDoux was likely in his two fights with Duane Bobick and against Larry Holmes, theres not a lot more to add to that. Another matter is that Scotty didn't have the power to ko a Liston, he could hit and if it was on the button he could stop a lot of fighters but not someone of that caliber. Having said that Scott was a very tough guy and a real fighter, as a kid in the gym he treated us all like we mattered, just a great guy.

Those old contenders were 90% class acts and pure gentlemans.
    Quarry,Scott,Bobick,Stander,Chuvalo,Leroy,Shavers,Lyle,Coetzer....pure class acts.

Liston mops the floor with most of them.
Apart from Lyle, nobody stands a chance against Liston.

    Nope. Liston obliterates him.

Shavers would knock Liston cold worse than Martin did and Quarry would beat him.

Martin beat a Liston that was probably around 50 years old, that fight is irrelevant.
Liston is a far superior boxer to Shavers, is way more skilled, has better stamina and even punches harder. Liston wins with ease.
And Quarry stands no chance whatsoever, Liston obliterates him.

Liston wasn't 50 years old but 37 accorsing to him,his sibbling, his parents and census it is just a rumor to scare his opponents.
Yes he is like he was against Martin but yet he lost.
Shavers hit way harder than Ali/Martin.Liston of Martin fight would get knocked cold by Shavers.
Really?Like he did against Mac Foster in slaring?Liston was scared fighting Quarry in 1969 after he saw what he did to his sparing partner Mac Foster who beat the **** out of Liston and knocked him few times.

Liston by ko in less than 5. Ledoux would be sadly outgunned. His toughness would allow him to last longer than he he should.

The Census clearly shows he was older.

But this isn't that old Liston, this is a prime Liston. Big difference.

No version of Quarry stands a chance against a prime Liston.

I see a game LeDoux lasting about that long. Liston would land something monstrous and Scott would be toast after that. TKO.

I saw an old interview with his mother where she said he was born in 1928. I saw census forms that listed him as 10 years old in 1940. His jail record lists him as 22 in 1950. I'd say it's probable that he was born sometime between 1928 and 1930. That would have made him between 30 and 32 at the time of the 2nd Williams fight and looking at it in color, I can say that he looks at that time like he would have been early to mid 30s.
