You like that obliterate word. I agree that neither Jerry or Ernie would have got around Sonny's jab, Jerry in particular would have got busted up. Liston likely was about 39 or 40 in the Martin fight and was ahead on the cards.

Liston was probably 40 in the Ali fights

I feel like Liston would be unable to deal with Jack Sharkey. Definitely pick Jack there.

Lie, he was not as every info proved he was born in 1932 and dealt with that!

No, he wasn't born in 32 as it has been proven by the Census. Most here agree that he was older than stated.

So I think we're all in agreement that Ledoux stops Liston in an all time great war for the ages. That's good to know!

Sonny Liston, prime Liston from about 1959 would completely dominate a game Scott Le Doux, scoring a KO 4. It would last a round longer than Liston's match against Cleveland Big Cat Williams. Sonny's left pole like jab sets up his volatile left hook for the finishing knockout blow. Scott is not fighting a refugee from a nursing home in this one.

Liston would stop Scott, just different levels here. I can’t really predict an exact round cause Scott was a pretty tough guy.

No way. While he may well not have been born in 1932, 1930 is the most commonly agreed upon figure by many sources.
If correct, he would have been anywhere between 33 & 35 for the Ali fights.

Yeah, I know that 1930 seems as the most plausible date, but given what those close to him said and given his physical appearance, I'd say he was around 40. Bare in mind that even though the 1940 Census shows Sonny as being 10, the guys who compiled the Census based it on the declarations of Liston's illiterate parents.
