So they've signed the worse of the two and let the better one go, good planning Eddie.

Think it was more Matchroom putting their feet down saying that they wouldn't have Barry as his manager & co-promoter and give them the option of leaving or just managing

Hearn didn't have any choice really he had to say no otherwise it would start a trend of fighters wanting to co-promote for a bigger share of the coin. You'd have Morrison saying he wants to put Burns on in Scotland etc. and it would open up a can of worms. McGuigan probably thought they could go away and win a world title on Boxnation then come back and re-negotiate terms with Sky when they hold a few more cards, whilst pocketing good money from the promotions anyway and build a big support for Frampton in Ireland.

This move makes Eddie look like a cheap ***** on the rebound.

I'm looking forward to hearing the sky commentary team. First mcrory used to lick quiggs arse. Then hattons lost the sky deal and they preferred frampton and used to dismiss quigg. Now they will have to favour him again and will look like a bunch of nobs in the process

It does worry me that Matchroom are signing fighters for the sake of it. Just to impress the fans and score points. Sooner or later it will become messy.

why does everyone think its a given that Framtpon beats quiig? I think they are pretty level atm? Framptons best win is a stoppage againts Martinez, Quiggs is a stoppage againts Munroe?

:lol: trust you, they had the best (close call) SBW in the country, he left them as they weren't willing to share promotion, they have now signed the 2nd best and seen as the have the likes of Haye, Cardle, Rose & now Quigg from around the manchester area they can build some shows and sell tickets. Quigg will fight for a title at some point so why wouldn't they sign him ?

Il second that I think quigg stops frampton it's the way quigg beat Monroe and the war frampton got into with Martinez that makes me think quigg will win
