I know what you're saying mate, but like I said we don't know what options are there. The PPV could bomb, but Hearn knows the Sky hype train can lure the casuals into anything. Bellew/Cleverly 2 did 600,000 buy for **** sake.

They'll hype this through the roof, I didn't buy Bellew/Cleverly because it was a farce and I know quite a few people who didn't buy it as well, but all those people (including myself) would buy this fight, if I wasn't there that is. Selling out the MEN at boxing ticket prices will be worth £1.5m - £2m alone and Eddie already said the £1.5m offer to Frampton wasn't a 50/50 offer so Quigg must be making less.

£1.5m is a great offer, but we don't know what comes with that offer. Quigg and Frampton will be badly short changed if this fight did good PPV numbers.

Just seen the sky interview, was pretty cringeworthy and flash showing the cheque off, what was most cringeworthy was the interview with quigg after, he is really awful in front of a camera, he kept saying 'carl needs to put his money where his mouth is' now i don't think that is the phrase you use to describe this situation, your boy Eddie has done that.

Contemplating making a 'boring Scott quigg' twitter account akin to the James Milner one

Eh? What else is there apart from money?

That's promise land. The 1.5 mil is on the table.

I'm definitely no Hearn or Sky fanboy, but say what you like about him, he's showing far more transparency and communication than anyone else seems to be doing, and that's what wins the popular vote. As fans all the information we're getting is coming from Hearn. The pressure's surely on Frampton's team to say or do something significant..

Here's another good discussion about it featuring Adam Booth among others:

Bit embarrassing for frampton and co now. Either come up with a better offer or take the money. The other week you said you'd fight for nothing. Well if that's the case sign the contract

The cyclone promotions twitter, tweeted Eddie saying why are ou refusing to have a second meeting with us; Eddie replied with "there's no need for another meeting, the offer of £1.5m is there!"

Yeah Eddie you absolute turtle neck wearing dangerous nonce, that's how business works, you make an offer live on Sky Sports for the casuals to lap up and they'll accept. As opposed to sitting down, with lawyers and management present to work out the small/large details in a contract. Hearn thinks this is WWE, I hate him, the smug little rat.

Eddie expects he can flash some cash, with all of Sky's backing, and everyone will dance to his tune. It's bullying tactics really. Then when he doesn't get his way, he'll go to Twitter to retweet people that are slagging off the people he couldn't get to agree to his terms. I think he's tried similar tactics with Groves, and Khan.

The only way these two are gonna fight anytime soon is if they stick four jumpers in a square in a park and do it themselves.

Promoters have a job to do and are a key part of a successful boxing match, and everyone benefits from that - fighters, promoters, broadcasters, fans.

Not fighting because you don't want to pay promoters is a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

ill tell you whats stopping this fight , Barry Mcguigans greed and ego rather than getting the best deal for his fighter as a manager , Barry wants the best deal for himself as a promoter hense the co promotion ,£1.5m is a heck of a lot of money to knock back imo and money Frampton may never make for one fight again in his life , If carl had any sense hed tell Barry to back the fcuk off with his promotional ideas and do his job as a manager first and foremost and get him the payday he deserves , Mcguigan stinks of greed as much as i like the man , but do remember he has previous back in the day going to court with his long term manager regards money !!!!!!

If it's a PPV fight, then he should be getting a percentage as well as a guaranteed 1.5 million or whatever.

Yeh because 1.5 million isn't enough that he needs a percentage. If he stayed with Eddie maybe he could have had a percentage but if he doesn't like it then go and get a percentage of **** all off itv. I think this is a bit harsh on hearn. Imo he hit a brick wall with mcguigan and this is a last gasp effort to save the fight
