I dont rate Munroe. He a has a great engine and a good chin, but aside from that, he's pretty basic imo. He seems to get out-boxed if he cant get on your chest. Now I dont enough about Quigg to make an informed opinion, but I see Quigg as having more about than Munroe. I can see Quigg hurting him to the body with how high he holds his hands to. Quigg can dig a bit, particularly to the body. Nishioka hurt him to the body to.

I swear these alphabelts are trying to outdo each other with all these **** title fights.

Morales gets handed a WBC title.
Maidana gets handed the WBA interim title a million times.
Alvarez gets a WBC belt for beating Matt Hatton etc.

It's getting even more pathetic :-(

He's a good fighters dont get me wrong, but to me he seems like a featherweight masquerading as a super-bantamweight. I think that why he's been able to use his extra physicality and conditioning to overwhelm most of his opposition with his aggression. I cant see him bullying Quigg around though. Quigg is no shrinking violet. He can bang himself is quite physically strong from what I've seen.

Yep your right, the thing with Rendall he wanted to stay as the likely lad. He should of turned over to full time pro and probably ditched the Shinfields in search of higher quality coaching. No disrespect to them but i don't think they've developed him as they should and could of but that's also down to Rendall as well.

He throws ridiculous amounts of arm punches and smothers work. Cuffs a lot with his shots and generally fights messy. He has tried to add some skill and thought to work admittedly of late but he could and should be better. He's a little like John Murray in respect he got used to winning EBU title fights on workrate, will and strength.

Quigg does have some quality but i'm intrigued to see how he matches up with Munroe. I think Rendall will get into fight around 4th or 5th and it will be close on points. I think he will get to inside with Quigg and fight him centre ring and i just fancy he can outwork Quigg and win rounds over championship rounds.

Tough one, Could easily see people's points for Quigg winning and winning well.

This is a good fight to look forward to,which is really all that matters nowdays with the altphabelts making titles worthless.

Yeah you pretty much summed him up there.

He does arrrum! punch a lot, but maybe that will help him get to the target faster than Quigg ? If so maybe that will allow him to throw more punches, stay active, and win a decision. If he can keep Quigg on the defensive disorganizing with those kind of attacks, using his speed, then yeah I guess he could win that way. If he tries to bang it out with Quigg, power shot 4 power shot, then that could spell trouble for him.

This. Should be a great fight.

  13. Before Quigg went to Gallagher I'd have picked him to beat Munroe, who sometimes looks as if he can't be arsed and coasts through fights.

I've not been impressed with him since he left - the head movement has all but gone and he seems heavier on his feet..... gets hit a lot more IMO.

If Quigg shows more of what he's been showing he'll bring the best out of Munroe the way Martinez did, perhaps a mid/late stoppage or clear decision.

I think Munroe will be able to build a rhythm against Quigg, who is the one I'd really lay the one dimensional tag on.

I like Quigg, he's strong, comes to fight and can whack a bit, but Munroe is bigger and digs well to the body. I think he'll do this through the mid-rounds to have Quigg ****ed for the championship rounds.

It's points and it's competitive either way IMO, but I favour The Bin Man to upset the apple cart. I'm also not impressed with Quigg as much since he went to Gallagher.
