I always thought it would be Frampton - he's more rounded with his skill set. I think Quigg is a better offensive fighter, but he relies on it nearly exclusively. I believe after a few tight early rounds Frampton will take away all his weapons and break him down.

I'm also not convinced Quigg has the greatest chin after Arthur plopped him down.

I need to see the knockdown from last night i didn't catch the replay, Hughes was the weaker opponent but Frampton dissected him well.

I think Frampton's bridging the gap and i think if these two were to meet towards end of year i'd put my money on Frampton. Just feel he's got that look of someone who fights with a aura. It's going to take a good fighter to beat him and if Quigg doesn't make improvements i think Carl takes him apart in a hard fight. Could well be like Murray-Mitchell.

Is it just me or is that Frampton shutout already?

It depends how Quigg responds to being decked. Groves became all the better after Anderson nailed him.

Until Donaire and Rigonduex leave this division these boys are arguing over scapes.

im irish and i had Frampton before the Jamie arthur fight.

i saw him as an amateur in the national stadium and always thought he was special.

id say Frampton would spark him in less than 8 rounds.

I certainly get that feeling too. Frampton for me, **** reason really but the fact that Mcguigan (whose opinion I really respect) is going for it big style with him. Barry could've chosen thousands of other fighters but chose him. I don't think Quigg's team, despite being big names themselves (Hatton & Gallacher) will get him as far as Barry will.

The way his team talk about him, there is no way he should be going down against Jamie Arthur.

I'm not going to knee jerk here. I always said I think Quigg would be too good and too powerful for him, but now I'm not so convinced. It's not that I thought Quigg was poor as I haven't seen the fight yet, but Carl seriously impressed me the other week. While he was up against sub par opposition, he was punch perfect the York Hall, and showed good one punch power.

After Quigg has been on the floor, there will be question marks about his chin, and with Carl's power a KO isn't out of the question. The Irishman is good in defence also. But I still think Quigg is the bigger, stronger man. He'll force Frampton back with his speed a look to get off first. I think by The mid rounds Carl will be looking for the one big shot to finish it.

Quigg boxes to a semi close decision, something like 116-112.

But now I seriously want to see the fight! More so than before as I feel it is a tad closer than I previously thought
