Well eddies one is obviously bull**** because as he already told mcguigan lsc isn't coming to the uk no matter what you offer Also I do believe Eddie really wanted the kiko fight and I as I said before for them to outbid frampton they were going to have to suffer a huge lose due to the fact that mcguigan can outbid them because the kiko fight with frampton in Belfast makes a lot more money than the quigg Kiki fight
The cleverly comparison Is a fair one but at least cleverly was the only WBA champion and was willing to fight the champ breahmner and also fought bellew
I totally agree Eddie has maneuvered Quiigg well but now has outplayed himself and at the same time Quigg will feel the cost of not fighting top 10 contenders instead of cans.
You refer to people who like Quigg as British scum,I have no time for nor care for the opinion of such bigots.
Nathan was WBO Champion mate, but I'm sure just like Cleverly wanted to fight the best that Scott Quigg would want to fight Rigo/LSC/Frampton if offered but he personally won't be choosing the fights. It's up to Eddie Hearn and Joe Gallagher to decide if Scott is ready to step up and fight the top boys in the division.
You should kill yourself so if you don't like bigots No I referred to people who think it's alright to steal other countries too athletes at the height of there careers as scum, you fall into that category
Cleverly won the WBO title by beating Nadjib Mohammedi. Nathan WAS supposed to fight Jurgen Brahmer, but if you remember Joe, Brahmer pulled out with an injury a couple of days before the fight. Cleverly then had five defenses, including his fight with Bellew (and four other no names) before Fish Face ****ed up and agreed to Nathan fighting Kovalev (whoops!! Not Wank's finest hour). So I guess Scotty has another couple of no-names to defend his title against before he is on a par with Cleverly!! Well said Sir!! Eddie has outplayed himself and no mistake. And like you I find the lack of confidence Team Quigg have in Scott to be counterproductive!! After all, Scott is going to have to step up one day, he really should be as prepared as possible for that occasion!!
Scott himself knows that he cannot beat Rigondeax, as does Frampton. I want to see them fight each other before I would say that they would fight Rigondeaux!! The difference is that Team Frampton have publicly rejected an offer from Rigo (Rigo offered to fight Carl in Ireland) whereas Team Quigg have not, but believe me, I was down Manchester the other week and I sat with some of Quigg's closest friends and when I jokingly mentioned Rigondeaux they smiled and went "Woah!! Enough of that talk"!!! I suppose one could deduce from that that Rigondeaux views Frampton as more of a worthy opponent than Quigg (since Rigo hasn't even bothered to offer to fight Scott)!! The thing is, Scott Quigg, by virtue of his "WBA" title is almost compelled to fight Rigondeaux (the WBA "Super" Champion).
In fairness mate it was actually Ricky Hatton who produced the angle to the "world title" for Quigg. Scott Quigg fought Rendall Munroe (both Hatton's fighters at the time) for the "WBA Interim" title and it was only after the real WBA champion Guillermo Rigondeaux beat Donaire in a unification fight that the WBA made Rigo "Super champion" paving the way for Quigg to be upgraded as the "WBA regular" champion.
If he fought frampton in Belfast he'd get a much bigger payday than he would fighting quigg or probably any other guy in the division
