Round 1

Several light jabs by Rabchenko. Rhodes circles left, chin held back and protected by his left hand. Rhodes parries with his right jab. Rabchenko is following Rhodes around, waving his jab, lands a good uppercut that snaps Rhodes' head back but not much else of note. Rhodes is coiled, leaning back, picking off the left jab with his right, throwing lead lefts when Rabchenko comes in.

Round 2

Rhodes is playing matador, casts in a fishing line left while ducking in, then tossing a right hook and stepping away out the side door. Rabchenko is trying to push Rhodes toward the ropes with multiple jab pumps and straight rights. Rhodes is moving at angles, working off the ropes, tapping Rabchenko with right hooks high on the head. Rabchenko's jab is hitting all elbow, just following Rhodes around the ring ineffectively.

Round 3

BIG RIGHT HAND BY RHODES!! RABCHENKO BADLY HURT!!! SORT OF A HYBRID POWER-JAB/HOOK!! Rhodes works in with uppercuts with both hands, big right hook! Rabchenko holds, and turns his hips into powerful desperate counters. Now Rhodes is stunned and holding! Rabchenko drills him into the ropes with straight shots. Rhodes circles back and forth on the outside, hugging the ropes. Big right hook to the body by Rhodes reaching in then darting back, defending well. Rabchenko is trying to smother him against the ropes. Hooks to the body by Rabchenko. Rhodes leans back against the ropes, slipping shots and turning his head. Rhodes not countering. BIG RIGHT HAND by Rhodes, similar to the one he hurt Rabchenko with at the beginning. Nice looping left by Rhodes. Rabchenko flurries down at Rhodes' head while he is ducking, then misses an uppercut. Body shots inside by Rhodes. Right hook.

29-28 Rhodes

 

Round 4

Whipping combos from outside by Rhodes, right hooks and then straight lefts to the body. Rabchenko walks through them and tickles the body with his jab, then raises it up toward Rhodes' chin. Rhodes has his guard up, backing to the ropes, moving his head to slip shots. Right jabs by Rhodes, flicked up from the waist. Rhodes feints and swings his arms down at his sides. NICE straight left by Rhodes. Rabchenko catches him circling with a straight right. Hook to the body by Rabchenko, then grabbing. Rabchenko is tireless, getting outmaneuvered but keeps coming. BIG left hook by Rabchenko is ducked. Rhodes switches briefly to righty, then back to orthodox. Rabchenko pushes Rhodes into the ropes and walks into a high left hand from the cornered animal. Rhodes is ducking and throwing blind overhand lefts, catching Rabchenko.
