Be good if he fought the winner of Frampton vs Martinez for the European. Quigg's a good fighter but he needs more challenges to continue his development.

I feel the same, one or the other will pick up a world strap in the next couple of years, they'll almost certainly fight at that point. So long as neither have completely dropped off anyway.

Quigg is afraid of frampton. Only says he'll fight him when he's talking in the studio. But it's all just talk

I really don't agree with that statement, Quigg like most fighters would probably fight Frampton tomorrow but there is more to it than just the boxers wanting the fight. Managers, Promoters, Mandatories etc

I don't believe for one minute that Quigg is afraid of Frampton, just because he doesn't feel the need to constantly go on about him and a potential fight down the line every time he's on TV like Carl's people do doesn't make him afraid.

Both represent a threat to each other. Therefore both teams will likely keep each other apart until world title level, more money in the bank and more money in the pot when that fight is made.

Agree with this comment and also the one where someone said that the two boxers would most probably fight each other tomorrow if given the chance.

When I interviewed Scott recently, he seemed a down to earth guy who just wants to fight - he was frustrated at having no fight at the moment too.

The impression I get is that Frampton's team want it and Quigg's team don't. Frampton, his manager and his promoter have all talked about wanting Quigg several times and have made offers to his team. There isn't any evidence of enthusiasm from Quigg's team to make the fight.

Quigg is now closer to a title shot than Frampton so I can see why his team think it isn't the right time for him.

Just because framptons team say they want it doesn't mean any offers have been made Galahad calls them both out after every fight he has but I bet nothings been put forward from his side

Like i said there is other factors rather than the boxer himself wanting the bout, just because his team are not keen I don't think that equates in Quigg being scared of Frampton.

Just to clarify, Frampton beats Quigg IMO.

There has been an offer made according to Frampton and his team and it was rejected by Quigg's team. Whether the offer was a fair one, who knows. But if Hearn can get a Euro champ to come to Belfast, I'm sure it wasn't a terrible offer to Quigg but who knows.

I don't think he's necessarily scared either. I just think his team think it wise to leave the fight as he's on the cusp of a title shot after beating Munroe. It's a little frustrating as a boxing fan but completely understandable in terms of management of Quigg. Frampton will be around for quite some time, that fight will always be there.
