Scott Quigg?

The WBA have ordered him to fight for their 'regular' vacant title against Yoandris Salinas. Salinas has a decent record, but it's built on weak opposition. Hopefully this is a sign of Quigg stepping up if he takes it.

 

Yeah I heard he's been offered Salinas down the WBA route.

Don't really know to much about the cuban other than he's undefeated and has an amateur win over that Zou Shimming that all the chinese are spunking over.

Anyone got any info on him?

 

I spoke to someone who has seen him spar in America against top class opposition and was comfortably getting the better of them he is a very good fighter. If hatton is thinking about taki g this fight after leaving quigg on the sidelines for so long he is even more stupid than I thought

 

Lads if hes worried about salinas then whats the point of going down the WBA road when rigondeaux is at the end of it?

 

I think it's more the fact of having been out of the ring for so long than being worried

 

Is there still no news from quigg or hatton on what his plans are, has anybody heard anything regarding this ?

 

Hatton's a joke now he's completely run out of idea's for Quigg as he has no tv deal, he's pretty much throwing Quigg to the wolves as Salinas will box his face off similar to Gonzalez-Burns fight, Hatton should do the honorable thing and release Quigg so he can join matchroom and at least Eddie could build him the right way and give the kid a decent career as he's going no where with the Hatton's.
