Have you seen this guy's record?

Blow me I mean this is INSANE! I mean I know Kelly is building himself up but this guy aint even a tomato can!!!

I don't see how this is helping Pavlik...I mean he's going to get in the ring against this stiff and put him down in less than 3 rounds.....how can you call that development? What will Pavlik achieve to make him 'better', what experience will he gain? If his confidence is so shot he has to face bums like this is will never come back.

At least fight someone semi decent please, you're not going to benefit from this fight at all. In fact the only thing this fight achieves is ripping off boxing fans who know no different.

Most agree this is weak even though it will only be Pavlik's second outing under Garcia. Your a month or so late. :D

i think a lot of it is also figuring out what weight to fight at. getting a few more rounds in with garcia in a glorified sparring session while figuring out how far down in weight they can go....

sigmon is a can but i get it. would like to see him in there with someone live but whatever. its my understanding that after this fight there will be a big fight waiting. maybe jcc jr.

No reason 2 trip out! Sigmon pulled a richard Abril and got this fight Via Trash talk and annoucing the fight before it was ever signed.

other than the need for rounds to get Kelly Ready for big names --- Confidence is the key to Kelly's success, and knocking out a couple guys is what kelly needs!

pavlik's getting rounds in and rebuilding his in fight confidence before taking the step to the elite to near elite level in pursuit of mw or smw greatness. this is a fine comeback fight.

Kelly needs time in camp high, quality sparring, and regular fights, which is what he seems to be getting under Garcia. Kelly could have a few more fights like this before i start to care about the quality of his oppositions, if he needs to fight guys like this, then do it but do it every couple months then when hes developed more and gotten over his personal problems then step up.

Also this guy has never been stopped so to get him out of there will be a much needed boost to Kellys confidence

At least he's fighting. I know it isn't much, but if he can get a few rounds and then starch this guy (Sigmon never been KO'd), then he can move on to a better level of opponent.

Personally, I'd like to see KP take one BAD-level fight before a "big-money" fight. I'm still skeptical that TopRank would let Pavlik anywhere near Chavez, though.

Don't be surprised if Chavez vacates after Lee saying weight is just too much an issue and take Kelly at a catch weight. Just my take from some of the things that Kelly has said in interviews.

Kelly needs rounds, hopefully he won't take this guy out early as **** and try to get some under his belt.
