Ok, he's been sparring a bit with Jamie Myer, sometimes getting the better of Jamie who's starting to show his age but occasionaly lets Scott know that he was 2 time state champ and 2 time PABA title challenger with some nice shots.

Larry was a hero of mine growing up. He's from my home town Chinderah. Know his family well, all great people. Trained his nephew for a while, he beat Todd Kidd in the juniors.

Hey Zelk, hope you are good. Gym is flying.

The recent footballer sprint didn't make them look too fast! NEW Brisbane recruit Greg Inglis noticed it the moment they first hit the track for an afternoon practice session.

"Yeah, just the little things Lachie Turner was doing," the Kangaroo centre said. "The way he practised his starts, the way he stretched and hydrated over the next couple of hours ... he just did everything so professionally."

And for that he now has $20,000.

Wallaby winger Lachie Turner is officially the fastest footballer in Australia after running the Gatorade Bolt 100m in 11.10 seconds to beat a quality field of NRL and A-League rivals.

Turner beat home fellow Eastwood winger John Grant (11.15) with Parramatta's Jarryd Hayne (11.20) third. They wouldn't make the womans final at the Olympics. Usana Bolt would beat them by 20 meters and Shelly-Ann Fraser would beat them by 5 mrts plus. Professional ROFL

One has to remember that this night is a charity event for the most part and Jamie has thrown in more pro fights than I thought was needed for a good nights entertainment. There's about 16 or so fights all up and you have to think that some of the charity match ups are going to be good stinks from the novice guys.

Agree Rod. A good card. Bodene Thompson looks an outstanding prospect.

Should be a great little bout. It's a shame this card isn't on TV. Lots of interest with the sportsman all having a go for charity. Well done to Jamie Myer, a top way to round out 2010.
