Newsflash: The ref waved it off milliseconds after "nine." By the time he WOULD have reached "ten," Scott was up.

We still need to discuss this?

I think we should move on, maybe discuss something not QUITE as absolute as that BS call.

You know, like evolution, or global warming.

it was a rubbish fight, corrupt to the most, Scott was supposed to lose.

im done with this, really bad fight in terms of fairness and playing by the rules, you can see that in the clinches and then the count.

Malik Scott lost this fight because he took too long to get up. Watch Price v Thompson 2. Price puts Thompson down hard but Thompson pulls himself up by the ropes and is on his fight ready to continue by 9.

Even in the first Thompson Price fight, Price gets himself up by 8 even though he is gone.

The referee is very clear with the count, Scott didn't start to get up till the count hit 9. Bad move and not very professional.

As long as only the soles of his feet are touching the floor, he is "up"!
Why can't people just be honest? This was a bulls*it call by the ref...period.

I'm not sure why people are getting worked up over this.

Scott clearly didn't want it, so why should his fans get pissed at the ref over it?

The last number he counted was 9.

    Scott was quite clearly up.

Bad stoppage. Maybe very bad. But still not the worst ever.
