I've been out of the loop on Scottish boxing for a looooooooooooooooong time. Who are the up and coming prospects to keep an eye on at the moment?
Nathaniel Collins looks decent. Was chat of him and Nick Ball meeting at one point. Otherwise Tylar Jolly and Luke Bibby who both turned over in the last couple of years are the only ones I can think of who could do something in the pros.
Ball and Collins were ordered to meet for the British title. I'm sure Collins pulled out injured and the fight never got remade.
Luke Bibby is a real one for sure. Did I make up that Sam Hickey who knocked Lewis Richardson out in the CWG turned over?
I'd imagine Hickey a relatively decent prospect then, Lazzerini to. But I have to say I do rate Bibby
@roxoft This is the thread I mentioned to you in the world forum. You could paste your message in here or start your own thread, as not sure what is customary on the board. I'm sure you'd get some input on here.
Sam Hickey has turned pro. Very talented fighter, not sure what weight he will box at, probably 168. Don't know how much ko power he has, will soon see. Reece Lynch is a talent, not sure what his plans are though. Never made the Olympics. Was sidelined with an injury for a while which hampered his chances of going to Paris. Lazzerini is a strong fighter who could do well. Has had licence issues and been a bit inactive though. Nathaniel Collins had a health scare few months back, was rushed to hospital and operated on. Hopefully he is on the mend as he has done well so far in the pros. Currently holds British and Commonwealth titles. There is some good amateurs as well. I really enjoy watching Isa Akram, fast slick fighter.
