anyone seen him? i have heard a few folk rave about him ... he is 1-0 at the moment. He is fighting in PAul Grahams second show at the end of the month more details here www.prospectboxing.co.uk
not too sure, his first figth he doen well to come back from quite a sever cut to win on points ...it was 6 x 2 's
He's 2-0, he boxed down in sheffield or somewhere and won on stoppage, it says in boxing news that there were simultaneous knockdowns in the fight. I've seen him box a few times as an amateur and always loved his style and he always stuck as being much more suited for the pros. He won the western district senior title once I think and was a very game boxer who boxed 17 times in one season or somewhere around that. Not sure if he is good enough to win a British title but certainly a decent pro, I'll need to catch one of his fights.
you never know if hes brought on properly he could do well ,his promoter/manger seems to want to keep him active, think there are still tickets avail for his next fight
he is not the most talented boxer but he is quite tough. seen him totally out boxed and out fought at the scottish senior championships a couple of years back. he is also far too small for a light middle, light welter is where he needs to be if he is to have a chance of success in the pro game.
Amazingly he blew up to light heavy last season and got beat in most of his fights but showed a really good chin. Went the distance with Tom Carter.
slightly off topic but I see that Stuart Green is meant to be fight March 4th in Helsinki against Edis Tatli
he does have a good chin, but i believe he would need to be a light welter or at most a welter. he was strong and aggressive but didn't punch too hard. i hope him turning pro will also sort out his life outside the ring he is a bit of a wild one and has been in trouble quite alot.
he seems to have a good dig ,might settle into it .Looking to see him keep busy and he does look a bit fleshy so he might move down to welterweight.
he looked pretty fleshy at 69kg in the amateurs. good luck to him though and i'll be keeping an eye on him to see how he goes.
