I can't provide you dedicated sites with a few hours reading. Need a book for that. But do a google search on Peter Keenan, Jackie Brown, Walter McGowan, and Benny Lynch.

Dick McTaggert your thinking of. Brilliant amateur and Olympic gold medallist 1956 I think he was awarded the Val Barker trophy for best boxer European champ Commonwealth champ Several ABA titles I had a drink with him once, a lovely fella.
