All I have to say is that if they do not rule it a no contest I will loose all respect for the British Boxing board of control and regulators.:fire I cant insert a link yet, but the article is up on espn.
It's Brits. Have you watched the olympics when they blatantly robbed everyone in favor of their fighters? So yea, Scott is **** out of luck.
It should be a TKO in my opinion but either way that is just a formality. It was a bad stoppage in my eyes, but it is what it is.
And clearly favoring everyone from the UK, like in most host countries. Or was it a coincidence just having incompetent judges scoring in their favor?
I'm all for a NC in this case, eventhough Scott was getting broken down. The fight wasn't over and the referee screwed up. Who knows what could have happened next?! Imagine the referee counted out Thompson at 9 recently... many would have said he would have been stopped anyway, but we all know how that fight ended up.
This. The one positive from this mess is that Malik should get another decent opportunity pretty soon.
Bad stoppage should be a NC, it is what it is should be a thing of the past. Even the people in the crowd, and Chisora for that matter were like WTF. I hope he does.
I hope they have a rematch just to see him get put back down again, this time with no excuses .... who at the age of 32 gets up at 9.5? go home Malik your a *****.
atsch Yes because that grazing blow and lean/push really assured everyone that Chisora was going to KO him....:tired
he shouldn't of STARTED getting up at 9, I don't see everyones problem. Who is Malik Scott to stand up at 9/9.5 when everyone else stands up at 8? makes you think he doesn't want to carry on. I.e Makes the ref thinks he doesn't want to carry on.
