Point is he was fine and he got up, at which point the ref waved it off.

Smart fighters get up before 9.... Face it Scott got exposed harshly at the weekend, not the first time its happened in boxing and wont be the last. You don't see anyone here making excuses for Price, its just called being realistic.

I agree the stoppage was **** but Malik almost looked relieved when the red waved it off. In his post fight interview he said Chisora won the fight fair and square... Bit late to start protesting now

He gave the ref a WTF when the ref call it, and looked disgusted for quite a bit.

What would protesting at the venue have done? Were they gonna restart the fight?

Post fight well that's exactly how he handled it when he got screwed in the Glazkov fight. The guy is a professional, you wont find him saying to many bad things about other fighters.

I can't imagine why being naive/stupid in Scott's case makes it OK to get screwed over by the referee according to some people here.
It's like justifying that Nigerian "419" scam thing, because the people that fall for it were stupid to fall for it anyway.

He beat the ten count, the fight should have continued.

Gatti v. Ward 1, round 9, Gatti got up at 9 in agony, no problem there.

And he got up at 9 not 9.5! Cut that shite out. And the ref only gave him till the count of 9, as soon as he start gettin up the ref was in like a light there to call it off.

    Disgraceful decision.

All we heard after the first Price loss was that it was a "lucky punch", "he got hit high on the head", "he had a perforated eardrum"... ****in hypocrites.

How many people cannot spell 'lose' ffs?!

Anyway - he didn't have the heart for it. Couldn't keep Chisora off and knew it

Honestly just watched the fight for the first time. I'm not even a fan of Scott's and that was a terrible call by the ref. He counted to 9 and waved off the fight.

mate he got brushed on the cheek and had to take a 9 count ... I call that exposed, even if he did man up and get up when he was meant to you know he was going to end up back down again. He lost get over it, its nothing personal ... Just cold hard fact
