how many fighters can you name that got their eggs scrambled in the ring and it followed them for the rest of thier life? ie ali took too many blows and the parkinison doesnt help, jake lamotta who took probably more punches than any other fighter still has his sences and speech thats not slurred. lets go!
Probably more then haven't to be honest. I saw an itnerview wihth Virgil Hill recently and he was slurring really bad, which is a shame for a relativley yonug guy. Of current boxers that show signs of punch drunkenness Toney and Evander would probably be the worst two. Even the defensive fighters get it bad, Whittaker slurs, Roger Mayweather is almost unintelligable (yes part of it is his accent). Wilfred Benitez is in awful health too.
