well i come more from boxing then mma....but plenty of fighters know how to throw a left hook..but they might get a trainer who sees that they need some work on it...and that the man they are going to fight is maybe a bit vanuable to it..so they work on the hook.....

could it be the same thing with the kick?

why do you assume that its impossible for Seagal to have made any contriubtion? he did work with Silva for a good while.

he seems to still be more athletic then one would think..but even if he cant...so what? how many boxers trainers can step into the ring and actually do what their fighters can do....

Just look at the **** he is teaching silva. Silva is the slickest and most precise strikers in mma (probably ever) and he can't pull that stuff off. A lot of techniques they teach you in dojos are not based in reality

at 5:20 in the video he is teaching silva the can opener :patsch

It was a basic front kick.. That's like the first kick that is taught in most martial arts. Yea, it's usually aimed at the mid-section, but a high front kick is not uncommon.

I doubt that Silva just learned this kick, seeing that he has been in martial arts most of his life. It was a good kick, and it landed in the perfect spot, nothing more, nothing less.

How's he going to demonstrate a damn face front kick, or anything near to it. Does Seagal ever use his legs?
