Thoughts On This "regional" Title Fight.
How Do You Rate Them As Fighters?

Sean is a good tough local fighter. Represented at Commonwealth level, which many don't know. Tough guy.

Good bloke sean, very clever campaigner & will give most a good fight. Was fighting out of a gym up here in central Qld a few years back. Very cagey fighter.

    Connell should take it.

He has got to be pushing 40 though..I think it is showing a little..his performances are slipping a bit..though I havent seen his last fight.
Good honest fighter and agree he is very cagey and crafty.

Sean's just gone 40. Although he's only had 24 fights he's never dodged anyone, and has fought the who's who of Aussie light heavies.

He retired after the Tiger Bell loss about a year ago. So this is a bit of a comeback.

I think Sean will etch out a decision even at 40. He has never been a punching bag for anyone. Good luck to him I hope he trains well for it.

I'm reasonably confident that Pawsey takes it.

Pawsey won. Waved off in the 8th after he'd just dropped Connell for the second time in the round.

It was a great even fight and both gave their all. 2 real gentlemen and a pleasure to watch.
