I think Sean had terrible management with his father, he put Sean in with Danny Little Red Lopez when Sean was 17 ,,Geez!!!

 

Yeah, Serrano would have been the WBA champ in '81-83 time frame, except for a brief time when Yatsune Uhera had the title after koing Serrano. He or Uhera would have been a good matchup for Verderosa. Not saying he'd win but that would have been easier than the WBC champs like Boza/Navarette/Limon/Chacon

 

I think it was Andy Ganigan who actually rang up Sean's cash register one time too many.

 

The " Hawaiian Punch " was one of those kill or be killed kind of fighters. Geezuz he could whack.

It was a good fight too bad Sean had so many fights he was a tough hombre with some decent skills but he was raised in the Mexican tradition turning pro at 15 had 80+ fights and was a burned up talent at 24.....he had some skills and would have been fun had he been prime in the era of Mancini and others.
