Juarez is a little too happy looking for my liking. Shouldn't he try to get into the mindset a little more? Maybe he's daffy from the Thai heat.

Juarez apparently said he would be looking for a KO in the first half, has complained about breathing issues whilst in Thailand

    Round 1

Both men trading jabs. Moonsuree is swaying from side to side to look for an opening on the body, throwing right hand lead feints. Juárez is stuffing the jab with a short chop of his right hand, and then shoots it up top, grazing Moonsuree's temple. High, tight guard by Moonsuree. Juárez lands a right hand up top on the champ and bends quickly to his left to plant a left hook on the hip. Moonsuree is picking off jabs with a forward thrust of his right forearm, keeping it vertical & parallel to his face. Good measured, defense-oriented boxing from both, feeling one another out.

    10-9 Juárez, close

    Round 2

Juárez is jabbing and quickly folding himself over to his left, slipping Moonsuree's counter jab and grazing him with a no-look counter right line drive. Moonsuree is dancing around, tossing jabs, all blocked or slipped. Juárez is jabbing at the elbows, then changing altitude, going for the stomach, causing Moonsuree to involuntarily lower his arms so Juárez can aim his jab at the chin or throat. Intelligent work by the challenger, picking his man apart patiently. Right hand lead by Moonsuree lands flush as Juárez is getting cute, squatting and leaning aside for a hook in the pocket, and the crowd starts getting riled up even though it was just one punch. Juárez unruffled, starts to weave in and score uppercuts with both hands from odd angles. Moonsuree keeping pace with him, screening out more than half of his shots with hand placement and remaining squared up with quick adjustments of his feet.

10-9 Juárez, on his consistent body work - close again (but judges probably gave it to Moonsuree if they were influenced by crowd reaction to his one solid blow)

    20-18 Juárez

    Round 3

Juárez is darting in and out, working the jab, then reaching low with the hook, tilted leftward. Moonsuree is pressuring, guard up, probing with the jab. Left hook landed by Juárez leaping in suddenly, catching Moonsuree by surprise and knocking him slightly off-balance. Juárez tries it again but just propels himself into a counter right from Moonsuree. Beautiful on-the-fly adjustments being made here second to second on both sides. Lots of feints and parries. Sweeping left hook downstairs by Juárez setting up a straight right poke in the chest. Moonsuree bops him on the side of the head with a quick left hook as he's ducking at mid-range. Moonsuree finishes the round asserting his jab.

    10-9 Moonsuree

    29-28 Juárez
