I think we're seeing Tassana Sanpattan (aka Petch) vs. Termchok Twins Gym @ super bantamweight - not sure, though.

If that is Sanpattan in the white & blue (listed on Boxrec as southpaw) he did some absolutely beautiful switching & shifting in the first.

The other guy is also southpaw but much cruder - leading me to believe he's the 1-3 guy in the equation and the other (who sort of resembles Sanpattan's profile image on BR anyway) has the classier record of 37-0. :!:

Termchok is strong but all he really has is a hard-driven left hand lead on the chest, which Sanpattan is snaking an arm around and yanking him into a clinch by, before resuming his rain of quick straight blows from both stances at range.

Look at Sanpattan's record! That is an insane amount of padding - especially considering more than half of his matches (twenty of them, actually) have been for minor WBC baubles...mostly against guys with records like 1-0 or 10-12! atsch

So this isn't just a one-off for him, like how Pongsaklek Wonjongkam fought kids in their debut as tuneups in between legit world title defenses - this is par for the course for him at this point in his career, zeroing in on forty matches. Unbelievable.

Actually he fought someone 8-0 last time out, so his management probably thinks he's due for quite a few softer touches now.

Yeah, that is often true with Thais.

Singsayan who fought earlier on the card (and was televised in full, unlike Sanpattan) doesn't even have a BoxRec page, even though he's now like 4-0 or something this year alone on televised cards on Ch7. :?

 

To be honest I'm mostly tuning in for my homie Czar Amonsot.

Green can go **** himself. (but it would be hilarious if random local scrub Kane Watts has a Garth Wood moment...)

 

Doubly so because it deprives Mundine and Green of a lucrative payday in a mooted rematch.

..and judging by Green's skeletal appearance in the weigh-in pics, it could actually happen. :think
