This is for the WBC Youth 108lb title, 1st defense of Kongputorn.

 

Zhang Fang Yon is 0-1, and his losing debut was last August.

Kongputorn being relatively babied compared with the fast-tracked likes of Chonachai or Knockout. (or, going beyond their borders, Tanaka...or even Galero)

 

She looks a tiny bit like the wife on Breaking Bad.

 

Round 1

Kongputorn is letting his upper body flap in and out like an open sail catching the wind, tossing right jabs at eye level as he descends and pulling into a tight guard on the lean-away & straighten-up return trip. Yon is plodding to his left, pawing out with left jabs. Kongputorn walks down the shorter man, bowing forward, swirling his upper half in the pocket, collecting jabs and flailing rights on the gloves, picking off most of what Yon throws. A few body shots from the lanky Thai southpaw. 1-2s knocking Yon into the ropes.

Round 2

Kongputorn is cracking Yon with lefts on the nose after softening him up with right jabs at the head and hooks in the armpit. Yon is throwing a blur of punches, creating a moat around himself. Kongputorn just swims partway in, landing long left uppercuts and right hooks on the body as he pleases at range while picking off most of Yon's shots on his gloves.

Yep, liking a lot of what I'm seeing. He needs to stop this guy, though.
