Season II of the WBSS starts this week and still no UK broadcaster announced

My guess is that with the Dazn content sky feel they have boxing covered. They are already doing as much PPV as the market can likely stand too. They're unlikely to shell out for even more boxing.

That's the problem with this tournament. It's a good concept but the organisation of it is poor. Kalle sees himself as a German Eddie Hearn but he's far from it.

Having these fights on pay per view was a ridiculous idea. You're automatically cutting out a large amount of casuals who would have tuned into the fight.

Then the delays in between fights and the delays in announcing something concrete.

Then the final being held in Saudi Arabia. Why not have it in the UK. George was well known to the UK public anyway but Callum could have become a star. The WBSS would have gained some real good exposure if it was held in a sold out O2 or MEN arena. Casuals would have bought into this tournament then.

I get that they want to be quirky, new, modern and fresh with their ideas and that Kalle is fully embracing this cult status he seems to have made for himself but why not focus on getting the basic things correct and not make it too complicated then it could have worked a treat.
