Benn, no doubt, belongs to better oposition than formella. Kelly, I like him, but his mindset is not the right one. I didnt watch his last fight, but or he manages to be less of an idiot than he was in the ray robinson fight, or he will never be a top fighter. I remember this fight, and I was with my hands on my head sayig "man, wtf are you doing!!". But kelly has talent too. His mindset, he needs to fix his mindset.

EDIT: I didnt comment about the porter's fight because I've not watched it. But it impressed me that formella is able to go all rounds vs porter, tbh. Benn could have stopped him in rounds 9 and 10. An older more experienced benn would have stopped him, 100% sure.

I definitely get a bully vibe from him. I remember one time when he was posed the question what he likes most about being a boxer and he replied that it was knowing that when he walks into a room full of people that he can beat them all up. I know that I can do the same when I walk into a packed football stadium or arena but I don't think I'm a big man because of it.

Got it totally wrong ffs. Benn has improved loads but still needs work, him vs Kelly is a good domestic scrap, won't be happening unbeaten vs unbeaten anyway after Kelly gets smashed up by Avanesyan.

Conor lives and walks in the shadow of a living British boxing legend and is, trying his best to be his own man. He was seen by many as the underdog and stepping up to quickly tonight and ended up putting in a damned impressive performance. He obviously puts a lot of pressure on himself and he's just blowing off.

is he nigel's son? what a putada!!

I would not like to be him. The same way I would no like to be kostya's son (or JCC's). Man, so much to prove. /bad

Than can explain his impatience. Lepinhood is completely right, he needs to calm down, to read better the timing.

Serge that's it, you know you can do it so why get angry over it. I'd beat Benn at a game of pool anyway hustle that man.

Benn better pray for no one in the room to have a gun.,

I bet brook thought the same way until he got macheted in the leg.

Maybe the problem with benn is that he's not very smart, that's another possibility.

    Exactly.

There isn't a man born from their mother who could beat a prime Serge at pool when he was firing on all cylinders

Fair play to Benn.. Has improved infinitely since the last time I saw him.. I used to think he was a bag of wank who wouldn't make British level

This fight was like the welterweight version of Lopez-Tatli.

Lartey took a dive. No doubt about it. The shot didn't even land. He went down like a sack of potatoes. He was looking for a way out and he took it early. I hate these types of farces.

It was the two heavy jabs beforehand that did the damage, he was out on his feet after the first one landed, it wouldn't take much to finish him off. And that little left hook he clipped him to the temple with did the trick.

ofc he took it. This, or he has serious, very serious, brain damage from previous fights and he needs to go to the hospital ASAP. As you said, the puch didnt even land.

The previous jab is a "keep busy jab", not even close to a hard jab, btw.
