    The point at which a ref steps in these days has definitely shifted. Good for the health of the fighters but not so good for the entertainment of the sport.

    Montiel is extremely uncoordinated and he can barely box. It's genuinely embarrassing that this guy fought for a title, it's horrific that he gave a good attempt. If somebody taught this slow-fast gentleman how to box he would be a legitimate contender, but right now he's basically a clubfighter with a punch.
