Pulev is pushing his left jab out almost reflexively now, barely snapping it but still scoring right through the gloves and under the elbows of Guinn. Pulev easily jumps out of the way of a Guinn counter jab and then comes right back in to continue feasting on him. Suddenly the Pulev jab takes a detour and loops around Guinn's right glove as a hard hook. Pulev feels he's on to something and throws a few more hooks, with a complement of right hands to stem Guinn's retreat the other way. Pulev lands an uppercut to the body, sort of hopping in the pocket to plant it. Guinn threw almost nothing.

Round 6

Pulev starts out jabbing but quickly switches over to hooks with the left as Guinn is doing nothing to dissuade him or adjust. Pulev trots backward as Guinn suddenly roars to life with a combination while barreling forward. Pulev isn't hit clean with anything and settles right back into a jabbing contest, in which Guinn is now at least participating (but losing). Four unanswered jabs in a row land for Pulev. Five, six. He follows a flush jab with the hop-in uppercut to the body again. Guinn clinches. They break and Guinn's head is snapped back by a jab. He puts his guard up, and takes an equally hard jab to the belly. Guinn just looks miserable. He gets hooked hard and wobbles despite partially blocking. Guinn ducks a 1-2. Pulev stands right in front of Guinn and rolls his upper body around (but Guinn isn't throwing anything).

Round 7

Guinn is trying to lunge forward with jabs to be first and keep Pulev from getting started. Pulev is just jumping away from them with ease and coming back hard with long right hands that crash into Guinn's guard and allow Pulev to resume his jabbing unmolested. Guinn now runs away - literally, skirting along the ropes, while Pulev follows and slaps him with long jabs in the face. Guinn stands his ground finally and catches Pulev with a very short hook to the chin and tries a few hooks to the body but looks awkward trying to reach down low on Pulev and gets countered anyway. Pulev throws a quick 1-2 that Guinn barely ducks. The next one isn't ducked, but partially blocked. Pulev is grinning and nodding.
