    the guy is german. i have watched several fight of him, he is on a solid euro-championship level but it's crazy to rank him as #1. he is worse than sturm, maybe a little better than danilo häußler, though it would be close. letting him fight pavlik would be pure negligence.

    Hey:twisted: HEY:twisted: HEY!!!!!:twisted: Whats wrong with talking about a guy who Pavlik has too fight within the next year if going to hold on to his titles:nono I remember 6 months ago I made a post called ''Who or what is a Gary Lockett'' when he was made the WBO mandatory some people thought it was a nonsense post but who ends in the ring with Pavlik not Abraham or Winky but Gary the Rockett man Lockett:bart Besides contenders like Zbik or David Lopez, Sebastian Sylvester and Marco Antonio Rubio should be getting some attention on this site after all it can't be all the time about the big three or five elite fighters Pavlik might fight in the next year and a half:nono

    A piece of advice to Pavlik

    Vacate the WBO and fight your WBC mando, or better still, move up in weight where the better competition is :deal

    I don't see Pavlik moving up untill has big money fights with Abraham, Winky , Duddy and Mora problem is pavlik might get more media attention and money staying at 160 then going 168 with Slappy Joe out of the picture.:hat

    I don't know anything about him, I was just trying to point out that he's won 14 fights by decision and is German, so you can bet there's a couple of dodgy decisions in there somewhere. :D

    And while Zbik becomes the #1 Contender (#8 Contender on WBC), Gary Lockett beomes the #11 contender(#25 Contender on WBC).

    The WBC #1 Contender is Giovanni Lorenzo. (#1 WBC, #7 WBO) is busy fixing to force his way as Arthur's mandatory if he can beat Marquez in the eliminator.

    Interesting to note that John Duddy is ranked #2 Contender for both the WBO and WBC belts. Marco Rubio is ranked #3 Contender for both belts.

    the german is actually a pretty talented boxer..........but without any power.

    he could bother quite a few of the top middleweights imo.
