    Chavez is 43-0. He ain't a great fighter, but he is strong enough to come on in the end. Froch and Johnson are pretty much alike. I can see Chavez having a Johnson like career, neither one is that talented, quick or powerful but they are always sniffing at the upper level.

    He didn't exactly go out of his way to praise him, but did defend him by saying that Chavez has no control over who is across the ring from him in a title bout and that he is now a legitimate world champion and should be respected as such.

    He was highly critical of both Chavez and Zbik during the fight. He doesn't like that Zbik doesn't sit on his punches or throw enough to the body. He doesn't like the footwork or lack of defense of Chavez. He had very little positive to say about either.

    I thought Zbik won it by 2 rounds. As a Mexican I wanted Chavez to win, and being the challenger he needed a clear victory. But whatever, that belt is Sergio's.

    On another note, Zbik's fight night weight was pretty low, depending on how Canelo does with Rhodes I wouldn't mind seeing Zbik Canelo @ 154.

    Chavez looks good, but I am not sure how he will react if he fights guys like Martinez or a Pavlik kind of fighter of a few years ago. Those guys can punch. But he had a good win tonight.

    Martinez > Froch > Mora

    But yeah, they all kind of due the same ****.. but if you notice how they rank above really has to do with power. At least Maravilla has power to make something exciting happen.. Froch's power is overrated.. and Mora doesn't know what the word power means.

    Its sad that the champion goes into the fight acknowledging that he had to win decisively to get the decision against the challenger. Used to be the other way around.

    chavez still looks like a work in progress, like he's still figuring things out. sometimes he slips really well and has a downright serviceable defense but other times he just gets lit up and is okay with it. I really want him to put more leverage on his hits from here on out though no doubt

    nice of Roy to give him credit as a champion. That legitimizes Chavez as a champion in a way.
