Sebastian Zbik vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. RBR

****ing Jr hit him low all night, Leaned in with his head everytime, yet Zbik is getting warned for holding Jrs head, the reason the kid is holding his head is to prevent a headbut....

I have no idea how they had the scores that wide, Wait a min, perhaps being in Los Angeles and the son of JCC helped out here.
Zbik deserved a draw at worse.... I am okay with the out come as long as Chavez does fight Martinez....

 

I agree with everything here, but we Know he will NEVER fight Martinez, as for Zbik, he ****ed up, he let Chavez lean on, what he should've done is circle and push off once the leaning started.

 

Chavez will not fight Martinez. And Martinez has no business fighting guys like Chavez regardless of the title. Chavez is not ready for that level.

 

You arleady know that Martinez and Chavez is not going to happen, and I agree Zbik could have done things to avoid that, Does the kid know what an upper cut is? Probably not cus he doesnt even know what a body shot is.

However this fight brings in question regarding clean effective punching. if you have one fighter (Chavez) who can bang a bit and the other fighter (Zbik ) who can not bang as hard, what must he do to get credit for his work?

What I think happens all too much is that when judges and fans see the effect of shots landed by that puncher its almost mentally expected by the judges or fans to see the other guy atleast match that effect.....

My question is how? if he is not a big puncher how is it even possible for him to match that type of shot? this leaves him to work rate, and whos to say that the shots he did land were not clean and effective?

They may not have been as hard as Chavez but they were clean enough and effective enough to make Chavez think rather than to go in there and walk through Zbik.....

Zbik out worked Chavez, he out landed him I think Compu Box showed he out landed Chavez 2-1 in 9 rounds, I mean that is ****ing crazy especially when you consider they were all to the head, He also had a higher connect rate over all out worked chavez.....

I am a bit bothered by this decison to be honest...

Honestly I saw Omar fight a few times as an amateur and he is more like his fathers style....

 

Yes, I think Omar is a bit better than Julio, but he seems to have been forgotten/put aside.

 

Thats because he is not Julio Jr, and its ****ed up cus the kid can get down.....

 

Actually Omar needs to sharpen up his punches to be straighter and his hooks more compact.
Omar throws too many wide hooks.
